Paul Haines

Paul E. Haines, 86, of Bellefonte, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at Centre Crest Nursing Home. Paul was born on June 29, 1930, in Brookville,PA, he was the son of the late Clifton and Eleanor (Lucas) Haines. He was married to Twila M. Haines, who preceded him in death on November 17, 2013. Paul was a 1950 graduate of Red Bank High School. He was a Corrections Officer at Rockview Prison. Paul was a veteran in the United States Army. He served during the Korean Conflict. He was of the Baptist faith. Paul is survived by three sons, Thomas Haines (Junita), Richard Haines (Pamela), Robert “Bubba” Haines (Tracy), and one daughter, Suzeann Garner (Gregory). Also surviving are seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis, one brother, Glenn and one granddaughter, Stacy Lose. There will be a public visitation held on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 3:00pm, at the funeral home with Reverend Bo King officiating. Burial will follow at Meyer Cemetery, Bellefonte.
