NANCY JANE GHANER DECEMBER 25, 1944 – SEPTEMBER 14, 2016 Nancy Jane Hendershot Ghaner, 71, of Bellefonte, passed away September14, 2016 Centre Crest Nursing Home. Born on December 25, 1944, in Bellefonte, PA, she was the daughter of the late David and Laura (Summers) Hendershot. On September 9, 1962, she married John W. “Jack” Ghaner who preceded her in death on November 22, 2013. Nancy worked at Holiday Inn in State College, Weis Market in State College, and Denny’s in State College. She loved knitting blankets, hunting, fishing, camping and picking on her grandson, Scott. She is survived by one son, Alen W. Ghaner (Mary Flory), one grandson, Scott A. Flory (Natasha) and one great granddaughter, Megan M. Flory all of Port Matilda, PA. She has two surviving sisters: Marie Bowen of Florida and Ethel Ault of Pleasant Gap. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters. There will be a public visitation held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Reverend James Schomer officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
