Margaret “Peg” Meek Rockey, 88, of Bellefonte died June 17, 2016 at Centre Crest in Bellefonte. She was born on December 3, 1927 at Juniata, PA, a daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy Burge Meek. Peg was an avid gardener, seamstress, baker, and cake decorator. She was a very self sufficient person. Surviving are two daughters, Dorothy Orndorf of Browns Mills, NJ and Joni Lucas of Bellefonte; three sons, Paul Colpetzer and David Colpetzer of Bellefonte, and Tim Colpetzer of Milesburg; two brothers, Robert Meek of Antioch, CA and Richard Meek of Port Matilda; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Bertiaux and Grace Meek; and three brothers Harry Meek, Ronald Meek, and Llewellyn Meek. The family would like to thank everyone at Centre Crest for the superb care given and compassion shown during Peg's 7 years at Centre Crest. At her request, there will be no services.
