Lois Ann Rupert, 72, of Bellefonte, passed away Monday, September 12, 2016, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on October 13, 1943, in Boggs Township, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Anna M. (Snook) Burns. On November 17, 1962, she married Richard Lee Rupert, who survives at home. She was a homemaker. She loved taking care of her family and grand kids. She also loved watching and feeding the squirrels, birds, and groundhogs. She enjoyed helping and taking care of the people she loved. She had many friends and loved ones. Lois is survived by a daughter, Dorothy J. Engleman (Harold) of Milesburg, a son, Ronald L. Rupert of Bellefonte. Also surviving are four brothers: John M. Burns of Dix Run, Robert Burns of Milesburg, Richard Burns of Milesburg, Charles Burns of Milesburg, two sisters: Dorothy Cain of Bellefonte and Bessie Breon of Milesburg, twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandchild, Ricky Lee Englert, four brothers, and three sisters. Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., in Bellefonte.
