Wetzler Supervisor 814-355-4261 OBITUARY DAVID P.” GUMMER” WEAVER David P. “Gummer” Weaver, 60, of Pleasant Gap, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at Hershey Medical Center. Born on January 30, 1956, in Bellefonte, PA, he was the son of the late Dean and Phyllis (Gordon) Weaver. In 1990 in Julian, PA he married Norma (Haines) Weaver, who survives at home. He was a 1975 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. David was a self-employed Flooring Technician In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Brian Weaver of Pleasant Gap and Corey Eckenroth (Julie) of Myrtle Beach, SC. Also surviving are five brothers: Dean Weaver (Jane) of Centre Hall, John Weaver (Bertha) of Melrose,FL, Denny Weaver (Doris) of Bellefonte, Doug Weaver of Bellefonte, Thomas Weaver (Dolly) of Fallentimber, and four grandchildren: Kody Weaver of Pittsburgh, Bailey Weaver of Snow Shoe, Elijah and Erza Eckenroth of Myrtle Beach, SC and also numerous nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Weaver and one brother, Roy Weaver. Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at noon at the funeral home with Reverend Calvin Miller officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
