Charles King Obituary

Charles R.” Chuck” King, 57, of Bellefonte, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016, at Mount Nittany Medical Center in College Township. Born on June 2, 1958, in Bellefonte, he is the son of Ronald and Lois (Boob) King of Bellefonte. He is survived by his fiancé, Kris Koski of Bellefonte. He was a 1976 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. Charles spent a career making Bonanzas at Bonfatto’s Restaurant for over 35 years, most recently he worked at Penn State University in the food services department, Domtar, and NARCO both for several years. He was a member of Valley View United Methodist Church, BPOE #1094, and he belonged to the Sunrise Hunting Camp. Charles passions included cooking, spelunking, motorcycles, Boxers, hunting and vacations at Stone Harbor, NJ. He is survived by one daughter, Jackie Golas, and her husband, Ryan, of Bellefonte and one granddaughter, Reigan Golas, also of Bellefonte. He is also survived by his best friend, Tom Blair. There will be a public visitation held on Friday, June 3, 2016, from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will be held on June 3, 2016, at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Reverend Robert Ludrowsky and Jon Bonfatto officiating. Burial will follow at Meyer Cemetery, Benner Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fillmore Food Bank at 2262 Buffalo Run Road, Bellefonte. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.wetzlerfuneralhome.com.
