Mark Leland Chambers, 47, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, November 18, 2005 in Corvallis.
He was born July 29, 1958 in Lebanon, the son of Henry and Virginia (Vigus) Chambers.
Mark was raised in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1977. He was always happiest outdoors, no one was going to keep him cooped up inside. He loved driving around in his Ford pickup giving his opinions and laughing with friends at Appletree’s, Pineway, and the Lebanon Bowling Alley. As soon as Detroit was full of water, you would find him at the lake fishing, camping, or just being in his boat looking out over the lake.
Mark has many friends in the Salem area where he worked his business, Mark’s Tree Service, for more than 20 years. Mark moved back to the Lebanon area in 2002 where he could be close to family during his illness.
Mark is survived by his son: Carey Leland Chambers of Orofino, Idaho; his parents: Henry and Virginia Chambers of Lebanon; sisters: Linda Fuller and her husband Don of Sacramento and Leann Dunn and her husband Patrick of Lake Oswego; his niece: Kimberlee Hiuga of Sacramento; and 3 nephews: Tommy Hiuga of Sacramento, Matthew Reed of Lake Oswego, and Byron Fuller of Cambridge, Massachusetts.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26th at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Lebanon.
Donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Lebanon or Benton Hospice in care of Huston-Jost Funeral Home, 86 W. Grant St., Lebanon, OR 97355.
Mark will be terribly missed by his family and friends.
