<p>Anthony J Nappa 78 of Manchester died Wednesday January 19th at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He worked for Petroleum Heat &amp; Power Co in Astoria Queens for 33 years as an Oil Burner Service Repairman before retiring in 1995. Born and raised in Brooklyn he lived most of his life there before moving to Manchester in 1995. He served in the Air Force from 1952-53. He was a life time member and present Warden of the Leisure Village West Knights of Columbus Council #9134, Italian American Club, Deborah Heart &amp; Lung Organization and the Card Club where he played poker and rummy. He also volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Rose Marie Passaro Nappa, daughters and son-in-laws, Natalie &amp; Robert Lombardo of Marlboro, Marie &amp; Justin Maccarone of Darien, CT, and Toni Ann Ventrice of Boca Raton, FL, sister, Genevieve Policano of Glen Rock and 7 grandchildren, Nicole, Robert Jr, Joseph, Katie, Stephanie, Michael and Dana. Visitation is Sunday 1-5 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Monday 9 AM at St John’s Church, Lakehurst with interment to follow at Brigadier Gen Wm C Doyle NJ Veteran’s Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Van Dyke Hospice 99 RT#37 W Toms River, NJ 08759.</p>
