A Celebration of Life Service for Richard Allen Moehle age 82 of Carrier will be 10 am Thursday at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Travis Orr officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Richard was born August 12, 1933 in Enid to Henry W. and Katherine E. Zwetzig Moehle and passed away Monday, August 08, 2016 at his home after a lengthy illness. Richard grew up in the Carrier community where he attended and graduated from Carrier High School. He served in the U. S. Army from 1954 to 1956. He married Mary Louise Benkendorf on February 20, 1955. He was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he was baptized, confirmed, married and served in many different offices. They made their home in the Carrier Community as a dairy farmer and raised registered Southdown sheep. He enjoyed sports and livestock shows and never missed his children’s games or livestock shows. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Mary of the home, children Rhonda Howerton and husband Kenny, Michael Moehle and wife Jana, Patsy Ross and fiancé Dennis Elmenhorst, and David Moehle and fiancé Lindsey Johnson, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, sister Barbara Marquardt, sister in law Ruth Ann Moehle and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Bill Moehle. Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or OMRF-Diabetes or Alzheimer with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
