Linda McGee

The Celebration of Life for Linda K (Smither) McGee, age 62, will be Friday, October 28, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Van Greenwood will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. Linda was born July 21, 1954 in Oklahoma City, OK to B A and Virginia (Lyons) Smither and died October 23, 2016 in Frisco, TX. She was raised in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1972. She attended the Kansas City Airline School to become a flight attendant and later attended school to become a travel agent. She worked for Auto and Truck Supply, later owned and operated her own travel agency. She worked for Quail Springs Baptist Church in the Rec. Center and the Women of Faith in Frisco, TX. She retired and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. Survivors include her sons, Richard Henneke and wife Denise of Enid, OK, Matthew Henneke of Edmond, OK, daughter, Catte Caviness of Frisco, TX; sister, Brenda Smither of Enid, OK ; 3 grandchildren: Kristin, Dylan and Jayten; father, B. A. “Burney” Smither of Enid, OK . She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia and son, Zachary Caviness. Memorials may be made to OMRF- Heart Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
