Wayne Franklin Beidle

Memorial services for Wayne Franklin Beidle, 79, of Kirtland Hills, will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Mentor United Methodist Church, 8600 Mentor Avenue, Mentor. The Rev. Beverly L. Wrobel will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mr. Beidle passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic.

Born December 24, 1936 in Lakewood, he has lived in Kirtland Hills for the past 28 years.

He was a member of Mentor United Methodist Church and served in the United States Navy reserves. He was also an Eagle Scout and served on the Kirtland Hills Village Council for nine years.

Mr. Beidle was a district manager for Rollins Truck Leasing Company and A.R.E. (truck caps) before his retirement. He was also a consultant for various companies.

Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Linda (Cook) Beidle; children, Joyce (David) Fowle, Sharon (Dave) Puruczky and James (Sue Parent) Beidle; grandchildren, Jessica, Brianna, Jamie and Thomas Fowle and Jason (Tessa O’Connor) Puruczky and Dana Puruczky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Franklin and Marguerite Lydia (Quast) Beidle.
