Services for Alvira M. “Maggie” Harmon, 74, of Mentor, will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the funeral home.

Maggie passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.

Born May 7, 1942 in Ronco, PA she has lived in Mentor for the past 39 years.

Maggie was the best cook and enjoyed watching the Food Network and loved taking care of her family.

Mrs. Harmon was employed by General Motors Corporation at the former Fisher Body Division in Euclid and retired from the assembly plant in Parma.

Survivors are her children, Lisa Harmon, Mike Harmon and Chuck (Alison) Huff; grandson, Erik Harmon and siblings, Dave Weaver, Oakie Weaver, Lillian Weaver and Shirley Walsh. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hassell C. Harmon on February 8, 2014. Her parents, four brothers, one sister and her daughter-in-law, Kim Gales-Harmon are also deceased.
