JACKSON, ROSALIE "Grandbo", age 77 passed away on July 17, 2016 in Dayton. She was born on November 21, 1938 to the late James A. and Lena Mae Hayes. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Rev. Moses A. and Cassie M. Hayes; husband Allen G. Jackson Jr.; 2 sisters Anna Mae and Shirley; brother Marvin and companion Bobby Malcom. She leaves to cherish 2 daughters Cassie A. Hayes of Kettering and Wanda J. Jackson of Dayton; 2 sons Allen E. Jackson of Norfolk, NE and Christopher A. Jackson Sr. of Dayton; daughter-in-law Mary F. Jackson of Colorado Springs, CO; 6 grandsons Roger A., Jerome A., Christopher Jr., Cory M., James A. all of Dayton, Jason Morton of El Paso, TX; 2 great-grandchildren Izaya J. and Adalynn R.; her beloved dog Lady and a host of family and friends. Rosalie graduated from Dunbar High School in 1958, Honey's Cosmetology and Beauty School, and received her Manger's License in Cosmetology. She did volunteer work at Shawen Acers. She retired from Sears downtown 23 years, Sears Salem Mall 5 years. Many Thanks for all the love and care, David Jones, Ashley Wood, Ohio Medical Transport, Fresenius Medical Center and Hospice of Dayton, and to her loving daughter, her primary care giver, Wanda. A memorial service will be held 1PM Saturday July 23, 2016 at Baker Hazel & Snider 5555 Philadelphia Dr. Dayton OH 45415. Visitation will be 12PM until time of service at the funeral home.
