Schweickart, John Joseph age 86 of Dayton, died Thursday August 18, 2016. He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Mary Kay (Halpin) Schweickart. He is survived by daughters Kathy (John) Bole, Beth (Jim) Hakemoller, Melissa (David) Seymour, son Bro. Mitch, SM, grandchildren Evan (Kate) Bole, Erin Bole, Andrew Bole, Michelle (Josh) Forman, Bryan (Haley) Hakemolller, brothers Lou and Carl (Patty), and many family and friends. He was a graduate of Chaminade High School and retired as a Tool & Die Maker. John was a volunteer for 14 years with the Victoria Theatre Association as an usher and team leader, and enjoyed being a "super" in local opera performances. He was a long-time member of Precious Blood Parish. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Monday at Precious Blood Catholic Church by Father Timothy Knepper C P.P.S. Interment Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N.
