RAMSEY, JOHN C. Jr. age 93 of Franklin, TN, formerly of Englewood, OH; died May 26, 2016. The world lost a hero last month. John spent his life steadfastly building his commitments: a 27 year commitment to his wife and one true love, Helen; a commitment to his Lord, Jesus Christ, that His word be heard and be meaningful to all who might hear it; a commitment to his country through its darkest hours of WWII; a commitment to his work and his industry that it be better each day; and a commitment to his friends, family, and neighbors that they might find comfort or resources whenever they needed them. He was a good husband, a good neighbor, and a good citizen, and he left this world far better than he found it. He is survived by his brother, Donald, his daughter, Judy (husband, Chuck); grandchildren: Chad (Angele), Scott (Kara), and Jay ( Julie), and great grandchildren: Sarah, Seth, Sawyer, Sean, Ryan, and Elena, who are and will forever be grateful for the world their Grand Pappy/Pop shaped for them.
