DAUGHERTY, JEAN N., age 91 of Butler Twp., passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016. She was born April 15, 1925 in Alodonia, OH to the late Harley and Bertha (Hurd) Wilson. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert R. in 1973 and grandson Brandon R. Daugherty. Survived by her children Robert W. (Sheila) Daugherty, James R. (Debbie) Daugherty, Rebecca (Michael) Salsbury, Elizabeth (Howard) Myers, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and special friend Willard Joslin. Jean with her late husband Bob, operated their family business, Dayton Band Inst. Co. and was a lover of piano and had a great appreciation for music. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church as well as DAR, White Shrine and ELCA. Jean was a graduate of Muskingum College, receiving her bachelors degree in Dietetics, class of 1947. She was employed at Miami Valley Hospital as a Dietician. Jean was world traveler and loved to dance and was an avid reader. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church 7700 Dog Leg Rd. Dayton, OH 45414 at the corner of Littler York Rd. by Pastor Kurt Lammi. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
