Meuret, Elvira passed away Friday, June 3, 2016 in Vandalia. She was born July 6, 19 in St. Henry to William and Anna (Ahlers) Dues. On April 7, 1956 she married Don Meuret who died August 4, 1994. She worked at Delco Products in Dayton and at Krogers from 1993-2006. She was a member of Queen of Martyr’s Church. Surviving are two daughters Debra (Ron) Irwin and Linda (Donnie) Clem; daughter-in-law Kathy Meuret; sisters Alice Cromwell and Florence Snider; brother Mark Dues; 5 grandchildren Lisa Bastian, Lindsey Serve, Christopher Caldwell, Jason Laudermilk,Joshua Laudermilk and 20 great- grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Don; son Terry; grandson Jason Hatton; great granddaughter Jasea Bastian; sister Alma Osterfeld; four brothers William, Cyril, Carl and Ed Dues. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM Thursday June 9, 2016 at Queen of Martyr’s Catholic Church 4134 Cedar Ridge Rd Dayton OH 45414. The family will receive visitors 4-8PM Wednesday June 8, 2016 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. Dayton OH 45415 Entombment Woodland Mausoleum.
