Betty Sexton

SEXTON, Betty Joyce age 83 of Dayton, passed away early Thursday morning, June 16, 2016 after a long illness. Betty has gone to be with God and is reunited with her beloved husband of 59 years Deannis “Dee” Sexton. The daughter of the late John and Clara Powell, Betty was born in Whitesburg, KY, July 21, 1932. Betty took great pride in watching her family grow and her family’s achievements throughout the years and is survived by 2 sons Larry (Christine) Sexton of Bellbrook, Ronald (Tammy) Sexton of Wilmington, 4 grandchildren Christina (Mat) Gerahardt, Megan (Ryan) Boutwell, Matt Sexton and Carrie Sexton, a sister Imogene (Pat) Gilbert, a brother Charles Powell, a host of dear nieces, nephews, family and friends and long-time caregiver and family friend Mary. Services 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St. Interment Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 am until time of services. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Ohio Hospice of Dayton.
