Rose Alexander
Rose Alice Alexander was born on July 18, 1925, in Macon Georgia to Lincoln and Mary Cooper and entered into eternal peace on October 5, 2016. Rose married Raymond Alexander Sr. on July 23,1949 and to their union were blessed with nine beautiful children. They enjoyed one another for 53 years until Raymond’s death. Rose was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved taking care of her family. As a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Saint John Church, Rose was a very spirited and compassionate soul; with a loving and generous heart, always giving to others. She loved cooking, baking, sewing, bargain hunting and seeking out a good yard sale. One may have considered her a professional thrifter! She was predeceased by her loving parents Lincoln and Mary Cooper; beloved husband, Raymond Alexander Sr. (2001); her devoted sons, Antonio A. Alexander (2006) and Gerome Alexander (2010); siblings: Joseph Cooper, and Robert Cooper. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her 4 daughters: Mary (Robert) Callahan, Eloise (Clarence) Mitchell; Charlene Alexander; and Geraldine (Kevin) Garside. 3 son’s: Raymond Alexander Sr.; David (Arlene) Alexander; Richard Alexander. Thirteen grandchildren, four great grand children, and a host of relatives and friends.Obituary
