DWAYNE STEVENS

Dwayne “Wayno” Stevens, Sr., son, brother, father, and friend. Wayno loved life and lived it to the fullest. Whether being the life of the party or being that friend, he was living and loving. Wayno was a 1984 alumnus and 4x4x40 state track & field record holder of Eastmoor high school. Thereafter, He successfully matriculated through the air force to become an e-4 senior airman. Wayno then went on to establish a career as an electrician with Columbus city schools. Wayno was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. You could catch him fully adorned in his buckeye gear supporting his buckeyes on game day. If not in buckeye gear, Wayno was in style as he loved to dress. But, more than his love for the buckeyes and dress, was his love for family. Dwayne “Wayno” Stevens, Sr. is the son of Elder Marie Stevens, whom he loved dearly, and Frank Stevens, whom precedes him in death. He is the brother to Anthony (Elizabeth) Stevens, Fred Thomas Sr., and Tarina (Louis) Stevens-Brown. He is the father to Kendra Stevens, Dwayne Stevens Jr, Nikiya Stevens, Julianna Wells, and Noah Stevens. He is the nephew to Calvin Thomas, Larry Thomas, Willie Thomas, Special Aunt Gladys “Tuke” Thomas, Terrence Nevius, Edward Thomas, whom precedes him in death, Wayne Stevens, Shirley Hall, and Diane Talley. He is a cousin to many and that great and reliable friend to countless.
