(Mary) Ruth Osborne

Osborne, Ruth A beloved companion, Mom, Mamaw, Sister, and Aunt Ruth. Ruth was born January 30, 1935 in Inman, Virginia to Ardena (Stewart) and Daniel B. Robinette. She passed away peacefully Saturday March 31, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton where she received loving care for the last 9 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband John Roy Osborne (Mar. 29, 1987). She was a member of the Fairview Primitive Baptist Church and enjoyed gospel-bluegrass music and was an accomplished gospel-bluegrass singer. She also loved to quilt, crochet and travel. Ruth is survived by her best friend and companion John Rogers, three boys whom she dearly loved, Wayne Osborne of Miamisburg, Dale Osborne (Mary Ann) of Xenia, Darren Osborne, also of Xenia, two grandsons John Michael Osborne and Noah Christian Osborne, brothers Joe Robinette (Emma Jean) of Blackwater, Virginia, Lester Robinette (Sharon) of Xenia, sisters-in-law Carolyn Buchanon (Jerry) of Medford, Oklahoma, Ermajean Hoskins (Don) of Talbott, Tennessee, Myrtle Bledsoe of Surgoinsville, Tennessee, brother-in-law Claude Osborne (Laura Nell) of Blackwater, Virginia, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday April 2 from 6-8 pm at Conner & Koch Funeral Home, 92 W. Franklin St. (S.R. 725), Bellbrook (937-848-6651). Funeral services 11:00 am Tuesday at Fairview Primitive Baptist Church, 2353 Ferry Rd., Bellbrook with Scott Tipton, Harold Shaw and Jason Robinette officiating. Burial in Fairview Primitive Baptist Cemetery. In memory of Ruth, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45420.
