John Lee Workman, 65 John Lee Workman, 65 of Ashland, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at Hospice of North Central Ohio. He was born on November 10, 1950 in Mansfield to the late Donna Irene (nee Brown) Workman. John graduated from Loudonville High School. Following graduation, John proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Ohio Brass in Mansfield and was previously employed at Mansfield Plumbing Products. John enjoyed baseball, football, hunting and fishing throughout his life, but most of all he loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He was also a faithful friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob. He is survived by three sons, Jayson (fiancé Lori) Workman of Ashland, Jeremy (Julie) Workman of Butler, and Matthew Workman; three grandchildren, Christopher, Blake, and Ajay Workman; and one brother, Terry (Kenda) Workman of Shiloh. He is preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Koch officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Ashland Veteran’s Honor Guard. Friends may call two hours following the service from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Monday afternoon.
