Dorotha Mae “Dottie” Brammer, 95 Dorotha Mae “Dottie” Brammer, 95 of Ashland, passed away, Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in Crystal Care. She was born October 29, 1920 in Ashland, to the late George A. and Gertrude A. (nee’ Osborn) Smalley. Dottie married the love of her life, N. Stanley Brammer on August 18, 1951. Dottie attended Ashland High School. She worked at Mohican Rubber Co. and retired from National Latex in 1987. She attended the Lutheran Church, Hospice, Senior Citizens, and was a member of Council of Aging. She traveled to all 50 states in the United States. Dottie is survived by three nieces, Elaine (Merle) Witmer and Darlene (John) Osbun, both of Ashland, Eileen (Mike) Patrick of Deerwood, Minnesota, nephews; Ronald (Pat) Smalley of Columbus, Dan Smalley of Akron, and very good friend Darlene Moore of Ashland. In addition to her parents, Dorotha was preceded in death by her husband N. Stanley Brammer in 1992, brothers; Carl and Ray Smalley. In keeping with Dottie’s wishes, a private family service will be held in the Ashland County Memorial Park with Reverend Janet Chilcote officiating.
