Preston Lee Johnston age 19 of Spindale NC passed away on July 15th as a hero saving two young boys from drowning. Preston was a 2015 graduate of RS Central. Left to cherish his memory are his father Richard Lee Johnston and stepmother Sharon Johnston, and mother Tammy Wellman and stepfather David; sisters Jessica Johnston, and Candace Kite; brothers Joseph Wilson and Christopher Harrison. Grandparents Irene Wyatt, Deborah Johnston, Bill Alley, and Debbie Alley. The family will receive friends from 5-7 on July 20th 2016 at Crowe’s Mortuary. Services will be held at 11:00AM on July 21st 2016 at Souls Harbor, burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Charles Poole and Rev. Bill Alley will officiate.
