Brevard – Paul Bruce Harris, 79, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 7, 2016. A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late William Vess Harris and Ella Lee Phillips Harris and was the husband of the late Mary Jo Ammons Harris. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Marquata Owen, and brothers, John and Charles Harris. Survivors include his sons, Dean Harris and fiancée Kim Butler of Lake Toxaway, Tony Harris and wife Susan of Brevard; sister, Elgerva Jones of Travelers Rest, SC; grandchildren, Ashley Harris, Claire Harris, Luke Harris; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. The funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
