Brevard – Franklin “Lionel” McCall, 86 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 28, 2016 after a two year battle with cancer. He was born on December 1, 1929 to the late Archie and Vinessa Owen McCall Neill. Lionel retired from Ecusta after 37 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Betty Lambert McCall, son; Mark and wife Jeanne of Circleville, OH; daughter, Dianne Potts and husband Gene of Brevard; grandchildren, Timothy and Jennifer McCall of Ohio, sister; Jency Lambert and husband Richard and their son Ricky Lambert and wife Amanda all of Brevard and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11am, Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. A memorial service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Cherryfield Baptist Church with the Revs. Jackie Hensley and Tommy Preslar officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 6pm-8pm at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
