Shirley Smith, 94, of Black Mountain, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016. Mrs. Smith was born July 24, 1921 in Shelby, NC. She worked for Asheville Savings Bank for numerous years, and was an active member of First Baptist Church, Black Mountain. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, O.B. Smith; and daughter, Barbara Davis. She is survived by her son, Barry Smith and wife, Deborah; and granddaughter, Mackenzie Osteen. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Harwood Home for Funerals with Rev. Len Keever officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the John F.
