Savannah Swann Black Mountain, North Carolina Obituary

Savannah Swann

Savannah Faith Swann passed away June 14, 2016 at the tender young age of 21. Savannah was a gifted artist and was blessed with the ability to make others smile through her radiant smile and personality. She was a beautiful gift from God to her parents, John and Tamela Swann and will always be their precious baby girl. Savannah graduated in 2013 and had dreams of being a forensic sketch artist. Her family and friends are heartbroken that she was taken early but have peace and assurance that she is with Jesus with her Nana and Papaw Stafford, her Pappa Swann, and her cousin Aaron Price. She is survived by her parents, John and Tamela Swann, her Mamaw Hazel Swann, aunts and uncles Deb and Tom Stewart, Neil and Tina Barnes, Dana and Steve Reynolds, Susan Swann, and Teresa and Tommy Price. Her surviving cousins are Seth and Anna Stewart, Taylor and Spencer Barnes, Ashley and Alyson Reynolds (Jayden Fender and Emorie Courtney), and Kris Cline. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, June 17, 2016 at 2:30 pm at Harwood Home for Funerals. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring to make a memorial contribution are encouraged to consider Trinity Baptist Church of Asheville Haiti Children's Orphanage, where Savannah served on a mission trip in 2010.
