Peter J. Carpenick, 66, of Marlboro, NY passed away on September 17, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 16, 1950 in Yonkers, NY, the son of Peter J. & Doris Twitchell Carpenick. Peter has been a resident of this area since his early twenties coming from Yonkers, NY.

He married Maureen Chapland on August 10, 1980 in The Vassar College Chapel in Poughkeepsie, NY. She predeceased him on March 13, 2015. Peter owned and operated his own business, Carpenick Roofing, for many years in Marlboro, NY.

He was a loving and caring husband, father, brother and friend. Peter was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting, fishing, hiking and fishing.

Survivors include his son: Peter J.(Angela) Carpenick of Milton, NY; Ryan J. Regensburg of Highland, NY; daughter: Elizabeth A. Sutton of Marlboro, NY; sisters: Helen J. Bradley Ossipee, New Hampshire, Mary T.( Martin) Schwartz of Highland Beach, Fla.; Virginia M.(Michael) White of Hopewell Jct., NY and Doreen M.(Bill) Rebh of Shrewsbury, MA. Grandchildren include: Trinity, David, Brooklynn, Marilyn, Peter, Matthew and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother: Richard C. Carpenick and sister: Carol M. Pallett.

Services are private and burial is at the convenience of the family.
