A young son was tragically taken from his loving family Saturday morning July 24, 2010. Cody Allen Sarbou, 21 years old was born on July 11, 1989 to Joy Myers Sarbou-Jubert and Paul J. Sarbou. Cody Graduated from Saranac Central High School in 2007, spending his High School Career doing what he loved the most…..Football. Cody was attending Clinton Community College in the Industrial Technologies Program, and was most currently employed at Johns Manville in Plattsburgh. He enjoyed playing softball for the “Young Guns” in the Adirondack Slow Pitch Softball League and riding his Honda Repsol Motorcycle.

Cody also leaves behind a very large extended loving family on both the Jubert and Fuller sides with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
We must not forget Cody’s “camp” family and favorite place to grow up, Silver Lake and Aunt Lita Maroney, cousins; Howie Maroney, Maurie Maroney, Sue LaPlante, and godmother Vali Genditszki and her children Valida and Ben.
Predeceasing Cody was his Nee Nee, Bonnilee Myers and his Poppy, Ross M. Sarbou, Pe Pe Alex Jubert and his special uncle, Michael Maroney.
Cody will be missed dearly by his family and friends that knew him the best, especially in the way he loved to pick on his mom and sister and give that snicker that would turn into a contagious full belly laugh that would make us all end up in laughter. Cody loved as deeply was he wanted to be loved back. “Please know at the very moment of my passing the light I see I immediately recognized…She is standing there with her arms wide open, I am in her embrace and she has whispered in my ear “you are home,” “you are safe.” Only but a single tear fell from my eye my dear family, because I am now at peace, a calm has finally come upon me as I look into my Nee Nee’s eyes. You may weep for me for a time, but please know I am safe in the arms of my Nee Nee and she is singing to me as she did when I was a child….our song…The Teddy Bears Picnic.
