Maria C. Monterey of Piermont, NY passed away on June 24, 2016, she was 100 years old. Maria was born on June 17, 1916 in the Philippines, she came to the U.S. in 1972. She was predeceased by her husband Norberto in 2001. Maria is survived by her 9 children: Rosario, Carolina, Lily, Vicky, Napoleon, Bellafe, Teresita, Joselito and Maria Theresa. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Visiting will take place on Tuesday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist RC Church in Piermont, NY. Interment will follow at the Rockland County Veterans Cemetery in New Hempstead, NY.
