Jonathan E. Townes, of Nyack, NY passed away suddenly on September 1, 2016, he was 40 years old. Jonathan attended and graduated from the Nyack Public School System. He was employed for several years at the Christmas Tree Shop in Spring Valley, NY. Jonathan is survived by his mother Francine of Nyack, NY and his father James of Englewood, NJ. Four brothers: James, Mark, Jamal and Malik, a sister Tjuana and a host of family and friends. A Homegoing Service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016 at 12 noon at St. Charles AME Zion Church in Sprakill, NY. Viewing will take place at the church on Tuesday from 2 to 4 P and 7 to 9 PM.
