Donald A. Eaton, 68, of Brooklyn St., Eaton, NY passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Crouse Community Center in Morrisville. He was born February 15, 1948 in DeRuyter, NY, a son of the late Donald R. and Mary Cummings Eaton and received his education in Georgetown schools. Don was a tool and die maker until retiring in 1990. Following that, he worked for Cazenovia College. His favorite pastime was fishing. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Donald J. and Hope (Reel) Eaton of Eaton; sisters, Donna L. Eaton of Morrisville and Mary T. Eaton of Georgetown; brother, Joe R. Eaton of Georgetown; his former wife, Iona Phillips of Hubbardsville; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm Saturday, August 27, 2016 from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 31 Cedar St., Morrisville with interment in the Sheds Cemetery, Sheds, NY. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11am to 1pm prior to the service.
