HANNAWA FALLS – Mrs. Sheila E. Brewer, 63, of 86 West Parishville Road, passed away Sunday morning, September 4, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she had been a patient since June.

Sheila was born May 24, 1953 in Potsdam the daughter of Ellen Snyder Moore and the late Claude E. Moore and was a 1971 graduate of Potsdam High School. On June 17, 1996, she married Bruce W. Brewer at the Hannawa Falls Methodist Church.

Sheila worked for 15 years at the Charlebois Nursing Home in Potsdam and also bartended at numerous local bars throughout the years. She enjoyed various outdoor activities and going camping.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Bruce; her mother, Ellen Moore of Potsdam; her son, Eric and Jennifer Moore of Potsdam; her stepchildren, Jeff Brewer of Hannawa Falls; Brian Brewer of Potsdam; Amber Brewer of West Parishville; Angela Brewer of Potsdam; and Dale Jr. (Robin) Harper of West Parishville; her grandchildren, Brooke, Nickolas, and Ashley Moore, all of Potsdam. She is also survived by her brothers, Jerry and Jane Moore of West Parishville and Randy and Shellie Moore of Pierrepont; and nieces and nephews.

Sheila was predeceased by her father, Claude on June 1, 2007.
