Rochester, NY Fredrick E. Reis, 79, of Illinois St. passed away on Friday May 27, 2016 at the Leo Center For Caring, Rochester. Born on February 21, 1937 in Rochester NY, he was the son of the late Fredrick and Helen (Rauber) Reis. Freddy was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam conflict as a cook. He worked at numerous restaurants in the Rochester area including the Woodcliff Restaurant. Survivors include his Aunt Lorraine E. O'Brien of Rochester and several cousins and friends. There will be no calling hours or formal services. Burial in the family lot will be at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester.
