Scott Alan Seiwert, of Route 39, Bliss, died Friday August 26, 2016 at his home at the age of 44. He was born April 25, 1972 in Olean, New York a son of Alfred and Connie (nee Stearns) Seiwert. He had attended Pioneer Central School and was a gravel pit operator at D & H in Arcade. He was an avid sportsman - enjoying hunting and fishing, he also enjoyed cutting and splitting firewood. He is survived by his wife - Trisha (nee Brown) Seiwert whom he married March 3, 2006; parents - Alfred & Connie Seiwert of Machias; children - Tyler Seiwert of Java, Cyrus Seiwert of Buffalo, Qylie Seiwert of Buffalo, Cordell Seiwert of Machias, Bree Fahy of Delevan, Alana Fahy of Bliss; grandchildren - Noah & Keilynn; brother - David (Tracy) Seiwert of Springville, Tracy (Dennis) Murphy of Machias and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son - Joshua Mummery. Friends may call Monday August 29, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at W. S. Davis Funeral Home, Inc., 358 W. Main St., Arcade. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Freedom Cemetery.
