Douglas E. Stojek
Douglas E. Stojek, of Chaffee Rd., Arcade, died Saturday July 2, 2016 at Wyoming County Community Hospital, Warsaw at the age of 58. He was born March 31, 1958 in Buffalo a son of Teofil and Genevieve (nee Kirsch) Stojek. He was a 1977 graduate of Pioneer Central School and was a heavy equipment operator for D & H Excavating. He enjoyed woodworking, playing pool and fireworks. He is survived by his parents - Teofil and Genevieve Stojek of Strykersville; his loving and devoted companion of 20 years - Barbara Jirak and her children - Jay (Jennifer) Jirak of Chaffee, Kimberly (Russell) Smith of Chaffee, Rebecca (Larry) O'Neal of Smithland, KY; two sisters - Kathy (Brian) Long of Lynchville, VA, Brenda (Robert) Small of Williamsville; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Barb's son - Jeffrey Jirak who passed away May 26, 1995. There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a time and date to be announced.
