Carlos M. Bauza III, the loving, eldest son of Carlos and Nelsy Bauza, died unexpectedly on May 26, 2016 at the age of 32 in his sleep at his home in Corona, New York. Carlos is survived by his parents; his grandmother, Nelsie “Abue” Valdes; his brothers, Alain and Jonathan; his sister-in-law Natalie; his dogs Kiko and Domino; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Carlos was born in Somerville, New Jersey on June 12, 1983 to Carlos and Nelsy Bauza. He grew up in Piscataway, New Jersey. Carlos graduated from Florida State University with a major in Biology and Biochemistry in 2005. He worked in the medical technology field. Carlos could always light up a room with laughter and his glowing smile. His passion for life was contagious, and his unwavering honesty was humbling and endearing. Carlos enjoyed spending time with his family, laughing, dancing, playing dominos and talking for hours. He loved to fish and was an avid reader. Carlos’ warm and welcoming heart will never be replaced and will forever be missed. A funeral service is scheduled for 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the Piscataway Funeral Home at 18 Stelton Rd. Father Paul from Our Lady of Fatima will officiate a service beginning 8:30pm.
