William Betterton
Betterton, William L., Sr., 78, of Galloway passed away peacefully at home on Monday September 5, 2016. He was born and raised in Pleasantville,NJ. He enjoyed his life to the end and was loved by so many. Bill served in the US Navy 1955-1963 and was a member of Local 172 Heavy Construction Union. Spending time with his family and friends gave him enjoyment everyday. He is predeceased by his wife Eileen Betterton and his mother Elsie(Borden) Betterton. Bill is survived by his loving children, Elizabeth(Kevin)Fottrell, Helen(Mark) Emmer and William (Kathy) Betterton; along with his grandchildren Lauren(David) LaSassa, Courtney, Austin, Robert,Travis and Jillian along with adopted grandaughter Stacey Rodenas, son Kaeden and dear friend Ginny Jacoby.
