Ray, Steven K., 45, of Galloway, passed away on September 17, 2016. Our courageous warrior has lost his three year, unrelenting battle with prostate cancer. A battle fought with tenacity and dignity. He leaves behind his beloved wife and primary caregiver Lori; his cherished mother Marion Haas (Bill); father, Jim Ray (Julie); brother Jeffrey Ray (Diane); sister Carrie Crawford (Jeff); stepsons, Kevin Weatherby (Heather), Sean Weatherby, and Steven Nehr; adored twin grandsons, Dylan and Logan Weatherby; granddaughter Jamiee Weatherby; nephews Brandon Ray, Aiden Ray, Jack Crawford; niece, Cate Crawford; mother in-law, Pat Baresciano; and his ever faithful canine companion, Peyton. Heartfelt thanks to his doctors, nurses, and all the staff at AtlantiCare Cancer Center for their loving and compassionate care given to Steve and family, during his illness. A special thank you to Sherry, friend and confidant. Visitation will be from 10 am to 11 am, on Friday, September 23, 2016, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd, in Northfield. A service will follow at 11 am. Cremation will be private. In lieu of floral expressions please honor Steve’s love of all animals with a donation to a local animal shelter or rescue organization.
