Shelly Lynn Burke

Burke, Shelly Lynn, 42, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away in the comfort of her home on Sunday, July 10, 2016 surrounded by her family and close friends. Shelly was a native of Milmay, NJ and a resident of this area for twenty years. She is the daughter of Joseph and the late Harriet Burke. Her passions were teaching and spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time at her pool and the local beaches. Shelly was a 6th grade teacher for Chelsea Heights in Atlantic City. Shelly is survived by her loving husband, Edward J. Fuhrmeister, III.; her daughters, Abigail and Isabella; her father, Joseph Burke; sisters, Lori Burke and Amy Burke (Michael); brother, Joey Burke (Jennifer); as well as a host of other nieces, nephews and extended family. A gathering will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 6-9pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road in Northfield. There will be another gathering on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 9-10am at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish, 1421 New Road in Northfield with a Mass starting at 10am at the Church.
