Pashalis Michaelidis, age 69, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on July 13, 2016 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 28, 1946 in Stavrochori Kilkis in Greece to parents Theologos and Lambrini Michaelidis. He had three brothers. Pashalis was predeceased by Dimitrios and is survived by Ioannis and Athanasios. Mr. Michaelidis moved to this country in 1970 for a better life. He began his career as a skilled tailor and worked many years at this trade in various businesses before entering the casino gaming industry. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Roula Michaelidis and his children; two sons, Jim Michaelidis (Milena) from Somers Point and their two sons, Dimitri and Yianni and John Michaelidis (Jessica) from Brooklyn, NY and their two daughters, Nina and Haley. Pashalis Michaelidis was well-loved by his family and friends. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 10-11am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 7004 Ridge Avenue, in Egg Harbor Township. A service will be held at 11am at the Church. Interment will be held at Laurel Memorial Park in Pomona, NJ. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember him may make a memorial contribution to the Church.
