Hildebrandt, Edward (Eddie), 100, of Northfield. The family of Edward Hildebrandt are saddened to announce the passing of their loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather on October 12th, 2016. Mr. Hildebrandt passed peacefully at his home and joins his wife of 65 years and the love of his life Margaret Werth of Absecon, NJ. Mr. Hildebrandt was born October 20th, 1915 in Cardiff, Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Edward is predeceased by his son in-law, William Fishman. He is survived by his daughters Margaret Fishman of Northfield, and Linda and her husband Art Lightcap of Egg Harbor Twp; son, Edward and his wife Mary Kay Hildebrandt of Ocean City, NJ; grandchildren, William Fishman and his wife Anne Marie, Meg Robson and her husband Robert, Edward Fishman, Richard Hildebrandt and his wife Kim, Ronald Hildebrandt and his wife Chrissy, Denise Hiller and her husband Mike, Michael Hildebrandt and his wife Megan, Jennifer Nakahara and her husband John and Robert Lightcap and his wife Ashley; 14 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Florence Shute and Janie Hildebrandt; and many nephews, and nieces. Mr. Hildebrandt known as "Pop", loved his family and was greatly loved by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be greatly missed by the family. A respected business leader Edward was a past president of the Exchange Club of Atlantic County, and a past President of the Atlantic County Automobile Dealers Association and received many Chevrolet Division sales awards from General Motors during his 48 year carrier at Bennett Chevrolet in Egg Harbor Township New Jersey. A viewing will be from 9am to 11am, on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd, in Northfield. A service will be held at 11am. Burial will follow at Absecon Presbyterian Cemetery, in Absecon.
