Carter, Edward F., 56, of Galloway, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on July 22, 2016. Ed was born in Philadelphia and raised in Gloucester, where he graduated from Gloucester High School. He moved to Atlantic County over 30 years ago, and worked for his best friend, Steve Bauers at Dolphin Construction. Ed was a child at heart. He loved spending time with his friends at the Cove, barbecuing and listening to music. He would spend hours playing with his dogs. Ed was an avid Eagles fan and tried not to miss watching a game. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody, even strangers without wanting anything in return. Edward was predeceased by his beloved wife Marie Carter and his father, Edward Carter. He is survived by his sons, Jason Carter and Jesse Carter; his longtime companion and best friend, JoAnn Dennis; his mother, Winifred Mangione; and many family and friends. A viewing will be from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm, on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd, Northfield, NJ 08225. A service will follow at 4:00 pm.
