William H. "Bill" Pierce

William H. “Bill” Pierce, age 66 of Long Branch, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 surrounded by his loving family at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Bill was born and raised in Long Branch. He was an Administrator for the Long Branch Board of Education for 12 years retiring in 2010 and prior, the Director of Engineering at Monmouth Medical Center. He served our Country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He was predeceased by his parents, Warren and Louella Ellis and Harold Pierce. Surviving are his wife, Christine Pierce; a son and daughter in law, W. Brian and Melissa Pierce; a daughter and son in law, Andrea “Annie” and Christopher DiGirolamo; two sisters and a brother in law, Diane and Roy Mattson and Marylou Rubino; two grandchildren, Ryan and Brody Pierce and his Aunt, Daisy Plancey. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21 from 2:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 4:45pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. (corner of Third Ave.) in Long Branch.
