For the past 17 years he lived in Neptune with his oldest daughter Rose and her husband Mark. Vincent was predeceased by his wife of 46 years Geraldine Rizzo, as well as by 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Rizzo, Jr. and wife Jillda of Toms River; his sister Clara Denker of Whiting; his pride and joy grandson Jason Skislak and wife Katie of Neptune; and his many dear nieces and nephews. He served his country honorably in the US Navy during WWII for 4 years on 3 US Naval ships, the destroyer USS Craven DD382, the destroyer USS Conway DD507, and the Battle Cruiser USS Quam. They received their state licenses and worked with him there. He served the local community and the uniformed and civilian members of Fort Monmouth as a barber for many years until his retirement. Vincent was loved by all who knew him. He loved family gatherings, loved to laugh, enjoyed going to horse racing, the Neptune Senior Center, and he made the best Italian gravy in the family. He was a gentle man who always put his family first, even above his own needs. His children were the joy of his life and he thrived on the love of Jesus his Lord.
