Edward J. Rzeszotarski

Edward J. Rzeszotarski, age 53 of Monmouth Beach, died on Monday, August 22, 2016. Eddie was born in Newark and was a life resident of Monmouth Beach and a parishioner of Church of the Precious Blood. He was a devoted husband, caring son, loving brother, awesome uncle, and a loyal friend. Eddie left this earth the way he arrived --- honest, true and very well loved. He brought gigantic laughter into the lives of people he knew and even those he just met and was a friend whose sheer presence made you smile. He could talk to anyone and often did! He had a big boisterous heart and a very deep and quiet soul. Eddie was filled to the brim with an abundance of joy and there was lots to spread around. He enjoyed talking about important issues and if he couldn't get you to see things his way he would just shrug his shoulders, shake his head, smile and move on to something equally as pressing like fishing---or dinner. His love and devotion for his wife Sandy was evident each and every day. Eddie was predeceased by his father, Edward Rzeszotarski. Surviving are his wife of 13 years, Sandra Castle Rzeszotarski; his mother, Judy Carthy; two brothers and a sister in law, Robert and Katie Rzeszotarski and Russell Rzeszotarski; two sisters and brothers in law, Carla and Jay Gillespie, Lisa and Ed Heller, and his beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. (corner of Third Ave.) in Long Branch. Funeral Friday, 10 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at Church of the Precious Blood in Monmouth Beach. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Monmouth County S.P.C.A., P.O Box 93, Eatontown, NJ 07724 or the Monmouth Beach Cultural Center, 128 Ocean Ave., Monmouth Beach, NJ 07750.
