Patricia Von Klock Meredith, New Hampshire Obituary

Patricia Von Klock

HEBRON-Patricia (Pat) Flowers von Klock passed away quietly on the morning of August 27, 2016 following a brief illness. Pat was an especially loving and caring person, volunteering many hours at the Speare memorial hospital and Hebron Library, and spending many more hours with a knitting group making blankets for those in need. Her working career was spent as a medical secretary at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital (now Brigham and Women’s) and as a medical secretary and medical assistant for a surgeon associated with Harvard University. Pat spent many summers in her childhood years visiting her maternal grandmother’s home in Nova Scotia. Her love for Nova Scotia continued into her marriage to William (Bill) Flowers, and she acknowledged those trips there with Bill as her all time happiest memories. Music was always a significant part of Pat’s life and she sang in various church choirs and a number of organized groups including the Polymnia Choral Society and Starlighters in her original home town of Melrose, MA, and the Pemigewasset Choral Society in her final home town of Hebron, NH. While Pat did not desire to travel extensively, she frequently reminisced about her favorite trips, Hawaii with her husband Bill, and Germany at Christmas time and England in the summer, both with her brother and sister-in-law. Pat is survived by her only brother, Kenneth (Ken) Grabeau and his wife Ruth of Nashua, NH; Ken and Ruth’s son Glenn, his wife Raeleen (Rae) and their two daughters, Katrina and Lauren, also of Nashua, NH and daughter Meredith (Merrie) Kosiorek and her husband Greg and their two daughters, Victoria (Tori) and Brianna of Tyngsborough, MA, all of whom she loved dearly; and her step-son Steven (Steve) Flowers and his sons Eric and Christopher of Belfast, ME and Pamela (Pam) and peter Frye and daughter Kim of Herman, ME, with whom she always remained close, and good friends in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. As music was such an important part of Patricia's life, the family asks in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Plymouth Congregational Church, care of the the church music fund.
