Robert Lee Settlemyre II of Cadet, Missouri was born on September 13, 1981 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away September 13, 2016 at the Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of thirty-five years. Robert is survived by three sons, Robert Lee Settlemyre III, Jacob Settlemyre, Brayden Nash and one daughter, Brooklyn Settlemyre; his mother and stepfather, Sue Ann Haney and James Place of Cadet, Missouri; four sisters, Ashley and husband, Terry Boyer of Cadet, Missouri; Jenny Tomich of Potosi, Missouri; Shelia Chapman and Martin Stewart of Cadet, Missouri; Barbara Tomich of Cadet, Missouri; four brothers, Ronnie Stephens of Cadet, Missouri; Butch and wife, Tracy Tomich of Potosi, Missouri; Billy Place of Cadet, Missouri; Shawn and wife, Brandy Place of Cadet, Missouri; also surviving are nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Settlemyre Sr. and one brother, Richard Daniel Settlemyre. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and loved kids, especially his own. He also enjoyed the many gifts of Mother Nature, going fishing, camping, mudding and playing all types of sports. Everyone will remember Robert as a happy go lucky guy who always enjoyed life. Visitation was held Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri. Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi. Final Prayers and Burial took place in the New Diggins Cemetery, Mineral Point, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Butch Tomich, Kenny Dicus, Cody Thomas, Ronnie Stephens, Shawn Pierce, James Place, Jeremy Callahan and Brian Suda.
