Richard Lynn DeClue of Potosi, Missouri was born Thursday, September 11, 1958 in Potosi, Missouri. He was the son of Louis DeClue and the late, Naomi (Hill) DeClue. Rick passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of fifty-seven years, nine months and fifteen days. Rick was united in marriage to Linda Medley on July 1, 1978 in Belgrade, Missouri and were blessed with one daughter. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda DeClue of Potosi, Missouri; one daughter, Renee and Terry Aubuchon of Potosi, Missouri; father, Louis DeClue of Potosi, Missouri; three brothers, Larry and Debbie DeClue of Potosi, Missouri; Jerry DeClue of Potosi, Missouri; Bob and Lynn DeClue of Columbia, Missouri; three sisters, Elaina and Dennis Barrett of Fredericktown, Missouri; Modessa and Gil Kennon of Farmington, Missouri; Karen and Mark Pashia of Potosi, Missouri; two grandchildren, Colten Farris and Kenslee Aubuchon; three step-grandchildren, Cameron Aubuchon, Makayla Aubuchon, Katlynn Aubuchon; also surviving are other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Naomi (Hill) DeClue. He was a longtime member of St. James Catholic Church where he taught confirmation classes with his wife, Linda, for fifteen years. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting with his friends including, Bill Coleman. He was the owner of DeClue Auto Sales, where he enjoyed selling cars and visiting with his patrons. He also enjoyed traveling to Mexico and Jamaica. Rick will be very deeply missed by his family and many friends. Visitation was held 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, and Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri. Mass of Christian Burial was Celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church located at 201 North Missouri St. Potosi, Missouri 63664. Final prayers and burial took place in Calvary Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Moore Funeral Homes is honored to have been selected to serve Rick, his family and friends.
